Jeremiah 2:9-13.  Jeremiah has a tender heart. When he’s preaching, he’s not doing it with “hell’s fire and brimstone.” He’s called “the weeping prophet,” because he knows the judgement that’s coming so he pleads with God’s people in tears because they refuse to listen. In the life of Hezekiah, we saw what brings the blessing of God in our lives. Through Jeremiah we are going to see what brings the judgment/wrath of God. Jeremiah helps us understand that idolatry is not just a sin among many but it is the sin that all sins fall under.

We inherently feel the call to live for something bigger than ourselves, to become people who impact the world in a positive way. But many of us lack the faith to respond to that call. God is still using ordinary people to do extraordinary things for Him! In this sermon series drawing on the lives and faith experiences of ordinary people, Pastor Barry will encourage, inspire, and help us examine our lives and take practical, real-world steps to deepen our own faith and trust in God.
