Bridge Events

These are events that provide a “bridge” for people to get from the community to our church. Concerts, seminars, picnics, etc. are examples of “Bridge Events”. Other Bridge events include:

SHARON AND BRANDON SHARING A “CUP OF COLD WATER”

“A Cup of Cold Water”; This program is designed to introduce our pastor  & church to people in the neighborhood. We pass out cold bottles of water, other drinks and food items to those walking by our Ministry Center. An invite card is attached to the water with an introduction and invitation to visit one of our services.

 

        Neighborhood Watch: A Walk around the area designed to keep our neighborhood  safe and beautiful. 

Keiki Carnival or “Trunk or Treat: A safe alternative offered to elementary aged children and their families on October 31st.

Easter Eggstravaganza: A program for children and their families offered Easter weekend.Give Online Secure via Faithstreet

Ways to be a blessing to this ministry…

  • Financial contributions to buy food and supplies
  • Volunteers to assist with activities and food distribution

Rainbow Acres: A ministry to adults with developmental disabilities.

International

American Baptist Missionary Support: We support multiple missionaries and missions through our American Baptist International Ministries. Places where we have a special focus are Burundi, The Middle East and Malaysia.  See archived reports of our mission trips to these places in our archived mission reports. We celebrate missions month in September. We ask you to support our church through the Give Aloha program at Foodland during this month.

Child Sponsorship: Individuals, families and  small groups sponsor children in third world countries through World Vision and Compassion International. Over 50 children have been sponsored through FBCH. OCC_logo

Operation Christmas Child: In cooperation with Samaritan’s Purse we pack shoeboxes with items such as toys, school supplies, toiletries and clothing to be delivered to children in third world countries.
