Luke 23:44. “Then Jesus shouted ‘Father, I entrust my spirit into your hands!’” These words come from Psalm 31:5. It was the Jewish bedtime prayer that every Jewish mother would teach her children.  Without a doubt Mary taught it to Jesus when he was a little boy, and as He’s dying on the cross, He says this prayer.  But this statement is not just something to say when you’re dying or before you go to sleep at night.  It is a prayer to say every day for the rest of your life.  From this last statement of Jesus from the cross Pastor Barry shares four things we can hold on to when we’re going through our darkest hour.
