Daniel 11:32b.  Pastor Barry has chosen a most unlikely passage for his Easter sermon.  It doesn’t speak of Jesus or His resurrection.  It’s not even in the New Testament.  This scripture may not only seem out of place as an Easter text but even in its own context it seems out of place.  Daniel is writing about a deteriorating society and  the decline of Israel.  But there in the midst of gloom and doom, Daniel says that even in a society that has no respect for your God the people who know their God shall do great exploits, and in doing so shall bear witness to the power and purposes of God.  And in our case as Christians we shall be living proof that Jesus is alive.  From the book of Daniel Pastor Barry shares three accounts that bare out this truth and models what this looks like.
