Arming for Armageddon. Revelation 16:13-16; Daniel 11:36-45. Armageddon…the very word chills the soul. And it should, because this war will draw the final curtain on World History. Last week we learned about a war in which God steps in sparing the Israelis from total annihilation. But that is not the end of the story. Satan failed to totally destroy Israel but his continued unrestrained persecution of Israel will ultimately lead the whole world into the Battle of Armageddon. As terrible and terrifying as these events will be, we who trust the Lord need have no fear.  He loves and protects His own, and whatever comes, if we seek Him and His will for our lives, we will be among those whom He saves from the wrath to come.

What in the World is Going On? 

Centuries ago the disciples asked Jesus to tell them the signs of His coming and when it would be.  If the disciples wondered about these things in the first century, then we surely have reason to wonder in the twenty-first century.  As we look at the instability in our world today, and the turmoil and threat of terrorism, we can’t help but ask, What in the world is going on? Pastor Barry will unravel some of the mystery surrounding end-time events as he examines what the Bible has to say about life in the last days. Most importantly this series will encourage you to live confidently and expectantly in an uncertain world.
