The Israel Connection: Genesis 12:1-3. On May 14, 1948, God made good on His promise to Israel and her restoration to the Promised Land. the existence of Israel today is one of the reasons to believe that the Bible’s prophecies about the future will be fulfilled literally. Israel’s rebirth as a nation sets in motion the rest of the end-time prophecies, it was a necessary prerequisite to the final act of man’s history.

What in the World is Going On? 

Centuries ago the disciples asked Jesus to tell them the signs of His coming and when it would be.  If the disciples wondered about these things in the first century, then we surely have reason to wonder in the twenty-first century.  As we look at the instability in our world today, and the turmoil and threat of terrorism, we can’t help but ask, What in the world is going on?
