Genesis 1:1-5; Genesis 3:1-6. There is a cycle that repeats itself throughout the Bible. The first stage of this cycle is God creates and it’s all good. The second stage is man sins, and everything falls apart. The third stage is God promises and there is still hope. In this sermon Pastor Barry shares his conviction that we are once again in stage two. Our world is again drifting further and further away from God’s Word, and like in the days of Noah, sin dominates our society and too often sin dominates our own lives as Christians. And yet in the midst of that bleak, dark picture there is a huge window of hope, through which Jesus pierces the darkness by offering life, forgiveness, salvation, and the promise He will come again as King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
