Galatians 5:22-23 & Philippians 4:5. We live in a “dog-eat-dog” world. We’re in survival mode. If we don’t take care of ourselves, who’s going to?  Gentleness may not win any football games and it may not work well at the office on Monday morning, but in this sermon you may be surprised to discover that there is a kind of power in gentleness.  Indeed, gentleness is power under God’s control and the people who have this power have five characteristics in common.

²² But the Spirit produces the fruit of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, ²³ gentleness, self-control. Galatians 5:22 & 23 These are characteristics that believers should naturally possess as the result of the Spirit of God being present. In fact the fruit of the Spirit is the evidence that God is at work in your life. This fruit is never out of season. When this fruit is present in our lives it makes us extremely attractive to other Christians and unbelievers alike. Therefore these nine traits are the key to healthy relationships.
