(Palm Sunday) This Was Meant for You. Matthew 20:28. Jesus is down to the final hours of His life. He has been listening to His disciples as they argue among themselves about which one of them is the most important. Jesus taught, “The first will be last,” and “If you want to be great, then you become the servant of all.” With less than twenty-four hours left on the clock, Jesus has time for one more lesson. But this time He doesn’t use words. He walks over and He picks up a towel and a wash basin, and the disciples quietly watch the Creator of the World, the King of kings, the Lord of lords, the Son of the living God washes their dirty, smelly, calloused, feet. As Jesus’ final hour approaches, He chooses to underline in bold print this one message, SERVE ONE ANOTHER! PLEASE NOTE: THERE WILL BE A FOOT WASHING CEREMONY FOLLOWING PASTOR’S SERMON FOR THOSE WHO WOULD LIKE TO PARTICIPATE. CLICK HERE TO LEARN MORE ABOUT IT.
