“…be clothed with humility; for God resists the proud, and gives grace to the humble.” I Peter 5:5. The Bible instructs us to guard against the sin of pride, for by nature we tend to overrate ourselves (Romans 12:3). If we want the Lord’s blessing upon our service, we must put on the cloak of humility. Are you willing to quietly serve the Lord without seeking to make a name for yourself?  Only in this way can He fully bless you. No garment is more becoming to a child of God than the cloak of humility.
