“Be, therefore, not anxious about tomorrow…Sufficient for the day is its own evil.” Matthew 6:34. Most of us have one thing in common. We worry today about what might happen tomorrow. Yet how foolish it is to fret and fuss about the future. It’s more sensible and more consistent with our testimony as Christians to live one day at a time. We ought to thank the Lord for His gracious provision and not be anxious about what lies ahead. Instead of worrying about your tomorrows, thank God for His grace which is sufficient for today. Start living one day at a time. Worry is wasting today’s time to clutter up tomorrow’s opportunities with yesterday’s troubles.
