When we can’t understand our circumstances, we are tempted to question God and to think that they are without meaning. Sometimes we assume that chance has put us where we are, but nothing could be further from the truth! Even the smallest details of our lives are designed by the wise providence of a loving God.  Rather than chafe under our trying circumstances, we should learn to rest in the confidence that God’s purposes are behind them all. The Father loves us too much to allow anything to touch us that will not ultimately work for our good and His glory. What we see of God’s provisions teach us to trust Him even when we cannot see His purposes.
