FBCH CELEBRATING 90TH ANNIVERSARY

First Baptist Church of Honolulu is celebrating the 90th Anniversary of the founding of the Church. The Celebration  begins February 9th and 12th but will continue throughout the year. The Anniversary Theme is “Always Faithful”.  The Theme Scripture is Lamentations 3:22-23.  The Theme Hymn is “Great is Thy Faithfulness.

February 9th & 12th

The celebration begins with a catered dinner and program on Sunday, February 9th at 5:00pm and Wednesday, February 12th at 5:30pm  Dinner will be served both evenings.  Reservations are required and can be made by calling the church office at 521-4708.  The suggested donation for dinner is $5.00. The program on both evenings will include testimonies from current and former members, special music, proclamations from dignitaries and a multi-media presentation of the Church’s history.

T Shirts, Polo Shirts, Back Packs and Pens are available for a nominal fee.

The Celebration Continues Throughout the Year

• friend day in April when all current members and attenders will be encouraged to invite  a friend to join them  to our worship service. Special activities are being planned for children on that day.
• a luau in November to give thanks for God’s faithfulness in the past and to celebrate what God is going to do in our future.

Throughout the year we will be revealing future plans and there will be historical displays and special musical selections. Our goal in 2020 for Operation Christmas Child has been set for 900 shoeboxes.
