“The secret things belong unto the Lord our God.” Deuteronomy 29:29.  In the material universe as well as in the spiritual realm, there are vast areas that remain incomprehensible to man’s finite mind. Yet we need not despair that God has chosen to keep certain things for Himself. What folly it is to think that He must make everything clear to our human reasoning? Let us have complete confidence in His goodness, and accept His right to withhold from us what He pleases. We may question the Divine plan for our personal lives because some of the things that happen to us are hard to understand, but to demand that the Lord make His ways clear to us will shed no light upon our plight.  How much better to rest assured that He “does all things well.” Where the Lord has put a period don’t change it to a question mark.
