“For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God.” Colossians 3:3. Every believer who is honest with himself will admit that he slips again and again as he walks the Christian pathway.  No one is perfect, and every day we must all claim the promise of I John 1:9, “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”  In view of our weakness, it is comforting to know that we are safe in Christ. We have the confidence that He will keep us and bring us to our final destination. The blood of Christ makes us safe; the Word of God make us sure.
