1Yr_Home_Pastor“…but we glory in tribulations also, knowing that tribulation brings patience.” Romans 5:3. God’s reason for allowing adversity to come into our lives is not always obvious. It takes a long-range view to realize that difficulty is one of the best ways of weaving Christ’s likeness into the fabric of our character.  Our response to trial will determine how much spiritual benefit we’ll receive.  Whether we are having a blue Monday or a severe hardship, God has permitted that dark period.  His wise purpose is to remove from our lives that which obscures the loveliness of Jesus.  Our willingness to rejoice when afflicted helps the process.  If you are going through a difficult time, don’t forget Romans 5:3. The spiritual benefits you receive will be determined by whether you glory or growl.
