“…this man is my chosen instrument…I will show him how much he must suffer for my name.” Acts 9:15-16. Paul’s afflictions were a vital part of his calling as the Lord’s apostle. Realizing this, he was able to be joyful in the midst of misunderstanding and persecution.  Are you being buffeted by severe trials? If so congratulations are in order.  God can trust you with adversity!
