1Yr_Home_Pastor“Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.” II Corinthians 9:7. Many believers mechanically drop a little loose change into the plate as it passes, or they dig out a small bill because it would embarrass them not to put anything in.  The giving that pleases the Lord, however, must be done both gladly and sacrificially.  Paul was thrilled with the liberality  of the Macedonians.  He saw their response as an expression of spiritual maturity. Although very poor, they astounded him by their willingness and by the generous amount they gathered to help the needy in Jerusalem.
