“Find rest, O my soul, in God alone; my hope comes from Him.” Psalm 62:5. Sound Bible teachers are necessary, but we must never become overly dependent upon them.  Although we rightfully honor God’s servants for the help they give us, our hope should reach beyond them to the One they are preaching and teaching about.  Let’s guard against becoming so attached to a person that we fail to lean on the Lord.  Never make the Pastor a substitute for the Master.
