“O Death, where is your sting? O Hades, where is your victory?” I Corinthians 15:55 If we have received Jesus as Savior from our sins, we need not fear facing Him. We will enter into blessed fellowship with God for all eternity, for we will be “absent from the body and present with the Lord” (II Cor. 5:8) Jesus taught His disciples, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die” (John 11:25-26). Jesus’ message gives hope when we face our own death or the death of someone we love. He promises that we will enter our heavenly home and be with Him forever.
