“Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us.” Titus 3:5. When the Philippian jailer cried out, “What must I do to be saved?”, he was told, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ” (Acts 16:31). Salvation is a gift from God not something we can earn. Therefore, if you want to be saved and you recognize that the Lord Jesus died for your sins at Calvary and rose from the dead, just ask Him to save you. If you are already a believer, thank God every day for His mercy and His wonderful gift of salvation. Salvation is a gift to be received not a goal to be achieved.
