“Whoever desires to be first among you, let him be your slave.” Matthew 20:27. Christ-like leadership means considering the needs of our neighbors before our own.  Servant leaders employ gentle persuasion and reason rather than barking orders and ultimatums.  They recognize that before God they themselves are but servants who are only doing their duty.  Service that cares for others is the basis of true greatness.  Only the one who has learned to serve is qualified to lead.
