“…but the Word of the Lord stands forever.” I Peter 1:25. People will accept as truth almost anything printed in a newspaper or magazine yet are reticent to believe the Bible.  They readily take the word of man but hesitate to trust the Word of God.  If we so quickly accept the testimony of mere humans on a variety of subjects, why is it we’re so reluctant to rest the eternal destiny of our souls upon the infallible Word of God.  The Bible say that “whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved” Romans 10:13; And Jesus said, “I give them eternal life; and they shall never perish.” John 10:28 God’s unchanging promises are words you can depend on!
