“Do not worry…your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.” Matthew 6:31-32. It’s easy for us to worry about our future when we face serious concerns – the loss of a job, a family member with cancer, a wayward child. Scripture tell us, “[Cast] all your care upon Him, for He cares for you” (I Peter 5:7), and “God shall supply all your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:19). When your mind turns to anxious thoughts about the future, remember that your heavenly Father knows and will give you what you need. Worry is a burden God never intended us to bear.
