“If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation.” II Corinthians 5:17. Some people look at the cruelty and inhumanity in our world and conclude that there cannot be a loving God.  A better perspective, however, might be to think about how bad the world would be if God really didn’t exist.  The evil and cruelty in our world are not evidence that God does not exist, but that people have refused to be reconciled to Him. There is a God, and He has power to change people’s lives.  Christ produces a change within that breaks the chains of sin.
