After a while, the boy asked, “Mister, how much did you pay for this car?” The replied, “Nothing. My brother gave it to me.” The boy responded, “I wish…” but he stopped in mid-sentence. The man chuckled, “you were going to say, “I wish I had a brother like that.” “No,” the boy responded, “I was going to say, I wish I could be a brother like that.” What an unselfish attitude! That youngster exemplified the giving heart of Christ, who left the glory of heaven that He might provide the riches of salvation for us. Sacrifice is the true measure of generosity.
