“Faithful are the wounds of a friend.”  Proverbs 27:6. Loyal friends will correct one another even when it’s painful and disruptive to relationships to do so.  It’s one of the ways we show love and help one another to grow stronger.  It takes grace to give godly correction; it takes greater grace to receive it.  Growth in grace sometimes comes through the kind correction of a loyal friend even when it is unpleasant. Correction from a loyal friend can help us change for the better.
