“For unto you is born…a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.” Luke 2:11. In communicating time the letters A>D. stand for two Latin words, anno domini, a phrase which means “in the year of the Lord.” Events prior to Jesus’ birth are dated B.C., “before Christ.” Yes, everything in history is dated from that momentous time when the Lord Jesus stepped into the human arena through His birth in Bethlehem.  Every newspaper, every magazine, every legal document bearing the date of publication gives testimony to His coming.  Have you accepted the gift of God’s Son, that One whose advent among men changed the reckoning of time – whose birthday changed the entire course of human history? The hinge of history is found on the door of a stable in Bethlehem.
