1Yr_Home_Pastor“Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good.” Psalm 34:8. How difficult it is to communicate the freedom of forgiveness and the joy of walking with God to someone who has never had the experience! There are all kinds of things that cannot be enjoyed until tried. The wonder of knowing God and the fulfillment of living in fellowship with him cannot be experienced on a secondhand basis.  The Scripture makes this point over and over.  We’re told that the secret of the Lord is with the righteous (Prov. 3:32).  And in Psalm 34, David describes some of the benefits of the life of faith and urges the reader to “…taste and see that the Lord is good.”  You can taste firsthand that the Lord is good by accepting Christ as your personal Savior and by walking with Him each day. One taste of the goodness of God and you’ll want to feast on the riches of His grace.
