“If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins.” I John 1:9. In our modern world, owning up to one’s guilt rather than trying to “beat the rap” may be considered a sign of instability, but in God’s sight it’s the only sensible thing to do. The Bible says, “He that covers his sins shall not prosper” Proverbs 28:13.  If you have disobeyed the Lord, admit it, and receive His forgiveness. Confession of sin is a sign of strength rather than an admission of weakness.
