1Yr_Home_Pastor“Stop judging by mere appearances, and make a right judgement.” John 7:24. Judging a person or a situation on the basis of mere externals can be very dangerous.  Some of the religious leaders of Jesus’ day endangered the welfare of their souls by making a superficial decision about Christ. The Savior had healed an impotent man at the pool of Bethesda (John 5). When the Jews heard about the incident, they immediately concluded that He had broken the Mosaic law because He performed the miracle on the Sabbath. They reasoned that He couldn’t possibly be the true Messiah, never considering that God had made allowance for such merciful deeds on their day of rest.  Many of these people rejected the Lord because they did not take into account all the facts about His life and ministry.  Don’t make this same mistake.  Accept the Savior for who He is – the only begotten Son of God who died on the cross for your sins.  Don’t judge a situation by the way it looks to you but by the way it looks to God.
