“Judge not, that you be not judged.” Matthew 7:1. You can’t be part of a family, church, or any other unit of society without making judgments. In fact, parents must discipline their children when they see them doing wrong. And one of our duties as believers is to admonish our brothers and sisters in Christ when they err or go astray. Occasionally people have become quite indignant when a brother or sister in Christ approaches them about a sin in their lives. But when we do we are obeying Scriptures. We must be discerning and diligent in exhorting fellow believers when they sin and about religious heresy. But never let your tongue express an opinion that flows from a hateful, envious, or proud attitude. Don’t judge a thing by the way it looks to you but by the way it looks to God.
