“Christ is the end of the law so that there may be righteousness for everyone who believes.” Romans 10:4. If we are to live in harmony with God, we must fulfill what His law demands.  This sounds simple enough until we try to do it.  Then we are confronted with a twofold problem. The law offers no help in meeting it’s own demands, but instead activates within us a desire to break it.  Thank God, there is a solution to this dilemma.  It’s found through faith in Christ.  He fulfilled every requirement of the law. By dying on the cross, Jesus paid for all sins.  Now He indwells the believer, creating within him both the desire and the power to order his life in keeping with God’s holy character. The law shows us a need that only grace can supply.
