“Who has marked His Word, and heard it?” Jeremiah 23:18. Do you underline important words in the Bible and take time to write instructive notes in the margins?  You will find that circling a phrase or making a footnote on some outstanding truth will be very helpful when you return to that passage at a later date.  This can  remind you of past blessings, and your pervious notations will refresh your memory concerning the spiritual nuggets you have already dug out of the mine of God’s revelation.  Those who take time to mark significant truths and doctrines of God’s Word seem to remember them better than the casual reader. A well-marked Bible is usually indicative of a well-fed soul!
