“Our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory.”  II Corinthians 4:17. In the midst of personal setbacks, Paul urged the Corinthians not to lose heart.  In spite of loss, we are to pursue the higher goals of God’s kingdom now, anticipating our eternal triumph in Christ. When you experience loss, you may be disappointed, but not devastated.  Keep going because true victory in life is still to come.  Trials can be God’s path to triumph.
