2 Tim 3:16-17. Psalm 119:86. The Bible is the most read book in history. It’s the bestselling book in history. And it is the most translated book in history. We call it the Word of God, but how do we know it is? In this sermon Pastor Barry shares its scientific accuracy.
NEW SERMON SERIES BEGINNING FEBRUARY 16TH
“…everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock” Matthew 7:24. As we celebrate the 90th anniversary of our Church we also look to the future. Our desire is to be effective, relevant and victorious. A victorious Church is the byproduct of its members living victorious lives. Building a strong healthy Church doesn’t just happen. Neither does spiritual maturity in the life of a Christian. Every well-built house must first have carefully designed blueprints, a strong foundation, and a competent builder. Even so, a strong Church can only be the product of the blueprint of God’s Word, the foundation of Jesus Christ, and the daily guiding hand of the Holy Spirit. In this sermon series, Building Upon the Firm Foundation of God’s Word, Pastor Barry will seek to reignite and strengthen your passion for God’s Word by sharing in very practical ways what it means to be “doers of the Word and not just “hearers” only.
