I Kings 19:9-12. At the height of success and triumph Elijah was afraid and ran for his life. The enemy had struck his blow. The story of Elijah is among other things our clarion call to be alert to the fact that some of our greatest battles as Christians come on the heals of some of our greatest successes…when we would least expect Satan to attack, when we would expect to be our strongest. How does God deal with one of his servants who, quite frankly is being a cry baby? What does God do with one of his faithful servants who succumbs to the attack of the enemy? You may be surprised by some of the ways God responds, in the end we can trust God to restore us to his path even when we’re running from Him.
