John 19:30. When he had received the drink, Jesus said, ‘It is finished!’” Jesus had one goal on earth,“…My food is to do what God wants! He is the one who sent me, and I must finish the work that he gave me to do.” John 4:34. When Jesus said “It is finished” he was saying, the work I was sent to do is finished. The phrase “It is finished,” in the Greek is only one word: “Tetelestai.” It is a multi-faceted word. There are five different usages of the word and every one of them gives us a facet of what Jesus did for us on the cross. In this sermon Pastor Barry will share the five things that Jesus accomplish/finished on the cross and each one is a wonderful blessing to each of us in the here now and in the hereafter.
