Jody’s Album, Blessed Are the Children, was produced in 1977 just as Barry and Jody were graduating from Judson University and beginning to travel full-time with the music group “One More Reason”.
The Album was produced at Pinebrook Studios, Alexandria, Indiana by John Innes. Innes, the accompanist for the Billy Graham Crusades also arranged and conducted the project.
The children appearing on the album cover were members of the kindergarten class in which Jody did her student teaching.
After touring for nearly a year, Barry was invited to become the the Associate Pastor of the First Baptist Church of Lamar, Colorado shortly after One More Reason had performed there.
