1Yr_Home_Pastor“Some women were watching from a distance…. These women cared for his needs.” Mark 15:40 – 41. The Bible tells of a number of women whose devotion to Christ enhance the testimony of the Gospel.  Many of them faithfully served the Lord throughout His earthly ministry. Salome, Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James, were loyal to Jesus even when He was hanging on the cross.  Little wonder it was said of them that they “followed Him, and ministered unto Him.” Their devotion did not end with His death, for early in the morning of the first day of the week they came to the grave to anoint His body.  What a joy it must have been for them to hear the triumphant words, “He is risen!”  Thank God for consecrated women in every age! Truly they are entitle to a prominent place on the honor roll of faith.  Women – last at the cross; first at the grave.
